headliner replaced !
« on: April 07, 2014, 06:53:29 PM »
Well ; I finally TRIED to glue the head liner to the board but ended up with a few small wrinkles . It was a little colder than I wanted it so the material was a little stiffer than I'd hoped . Any chance that when it gets hot in the sun that it'll smooth out some ? It's the foam backed vinyl in a 76 bird.

Depends on the wrinkle, if you literally have a permanently glued crease underneath then it may never go away. I glue'd mine last year, came out well except I made the mistake of pushing down with my fingers (where I pushed down glue got into the foam and now the foam has permanent dents). With the headliner installed in the car over a year now those dents have almost all smoothed.
