The seat belt tongue in my T/A doesn´t go into the receiver.
While the tongue is approx. 1,6 inches wide (1 39/64") the receiver only has an inner width of 1,5 inch (1 1/2").

My suspicion is that a PO put at least one wrong part (i.e. the receiver from a different car) in the T/A.
Can somebody point me in the right direction? Which part is T/A and which isn´t? What are the correct widths? Where would I locate the correct receiver or does somebody still have them laying around in the garage? I´m ok with parts from a different GM model as long as they fit. I don´t want to shed out 500 $ for a complete set of new T/A seat belts.
