The 1st gen Hurst Tops had their seal almost right up against the chrome trim. The 2nd gens had a channel to divert rain and water out to try and help with the leakage problem.

so if I understand this rigth, my photo on top of this page is 1st design since it goes up to the crome, and S76GUY`s photo`s are 2nd
