Title: Need new Exhaust Manifolds for my 1978 400
Post by: Mooshs78TA on June 02, 2021, 02:29:32 PM
I have to replace my exhaust manifolds and wondering what the best choice is. I remember in the past seeing convos about headers vs manifold. Just looking for advice.  Engine is stock. I was looking at Ram Air RM-4 round port Ram Air factory headers. Will this fit and work for my car?  I noticed it didn't list any hardware for attaching it though. Also curious is the ceramic coating necessary?

I was very happy with these:

Thank you for the reply, those were the ones I was looking at. Did you have to buy any hardware for installation or does it come with everything needed? Also did you get them ceramic coated?

It's been so long ago, I honestly don't  recall.
If not, the hardware store and some grade 8's will do  fine.

I painted cast grey..no ceramic coating.
