Styrofoam in Rear Quaters
« on: September 30, 2020, 03:49:04 PM »
I've just begun to restore my 75 Formula and I found styrofoam in my rear quarter panels. I remember GM back in the days did this to possibly increase the time for the quarter panels to rust-out. Is there any reason to keep that styrofoam in there or should it be removed?
Thank you

If you can get to it, then remove it. It promotes rusting as the moisture has no where to go!!!

Add insulation on the inside of the interior for sound barrier...stuff like Dynamat
