Bulkhead Connector Plug
« on: March 08, 2021, 06:30:59 PM »
Hey Guys,

Has anyone replaced the factory wiring leading from the Bulkhead Plug on the firewall?
I am in the middle of a restoration on my 78 TA and would like to replace the wiring from the Plug to the Engine Bay.
Is there a Tool to remove the pins, or a Kit that includes new pin connectors?
Thanks in Advance

There's a bolt through the centre holding the blocks to the firewall. The top and bottom unclip for engine and headlight wiring harnesses. The individual terminals can have the tabs depressed to remove like a normal plug but they are coated in thick sealant, it may be easier to leave a good terminal in place and solder a new wire onto the end. It depends what you need to do, or why.
