Title: Carb selection hep
Post by: 1FSTLS1 on November 02, 2008, 03:09:11 PM
Dont know squat about carbs. First engine build its a 455 .30 10:5. comp, mild cam around 228/230 w stock J heads. I need help picking a carb. Any direction or hepl would be greatly appreciated. Size and brand. Somthing that is simple to tune. Also I will have a TH350 trans.

Oh yea it has to fit on that pp crosswind intake. I am assuming the bolt patterns for most intakes are the same?

quadrajet from a 455 will give you the best of both worlds milage and power , if you can find one get a 455 HO  as the superduty models are like chickens teeth .
