Title: HID conversion kit for 81 TA?

Hey guys, do they make a HID conversion kit for an 81 Trans am? If so, where can I find it? Anyone else installed one? How do you like it if so? If not, is there a god upgrade over OEM lights? Thanks for everything!

I thought I saw an upgrade in either Ames or Classic Industries. The more high-powered upgrades require a low-resistance wiring harness because of the amps they pull. I believe that there's a middle-of-the-road upgrade in those catalogs mentioned that doesn't require the wiring change, though.

i think those sylvania "silver star" headlights are an easy (pricey?) upgrade. ive seen some others on EBAY

I purchased the headlight and wire harness kit from Classic Industries years back and the headlights never worked right.  I would suggest piecing together your own kit.  Search "4x6 headlight conversion" on ebay and you'll find different headlights to choose from.  You can even get those "angel eye" headlights but I think they look kinda cheesy.  Good luck
