« Last post by BenTransAm76 on June 17, 2021, 11:45:31 AM »
Hello, everyone
I take the opportunity here and introduce myself:
my name is Ben, 43 and I am from Stuttgart, Germany. I am owner from a Pontiac Fire Bird Trans a Special Edition 1976 black gold original since 2012.

My request for the forum is I bought a CBD ten TM Citizen radio and would now like a bezel, So a bezel as with the radio in the original then also the CBD does enclose. Unfortunately I find on the market and in various online stores currently nothing maybe someone can help me further place has or has someone such a thing still lying around and would sell it?
Thanks for your feedback.

Best regards

Ben

The 79s that Iíve seen they are all on the motor as far as I know.  I think Iím going to try replacing the switch to see if that works.

I could be wrong but I thought pulse wiper motors had the pump on the motor and non pulse had it on the bottle

Wait, you unplugged the wire from the pump and it still sprays? Where is your pump located, on the bottle or on the wiper motor?

Parts for Sale / NOS 70-72 shaker scoop

I have what I believe is the last nos shaker scoop that was sold by GM. I bought it in 1983 and the parts manager at the Pontiac dealer said there was three left in the warehouse system two were badly damaged and mine has a small chip on the edge where the weather seal goes. He said they were scrapping the two and would scrap mine if I didnít take it. I took it but he sold for half price. I was wondering how much something like this is worth now? Itís in factory primer and has the functional flap. Any thoughts appreciated

Thanks for the reply, I really am trying to figure this out.  Felt pretty sure it was the switch, until I unplugged the wire on the pump and it still sprayed fluid, then it really has me baffled.
I guess Iím going to have to buy a switch in hopes that is the problem, if not guess I will have an extra switch.
Thanks again.

Luckily the non-delay switch is easier to find used to swap over and test. There was to be a reproduction but they cancelled it, not sure if anyone else picked up. Obviously, something is grounding when it shouldn't, or the opposite!
