« on: March 07, 2010, 12:20:02 AM »
every one whats to know were to take there motor to.  this is the place.  they stand behind there work 110% , on a complete build. they will do the cam brake in on a dino if you want them to.
but dont think you will drop it off and get it back in 3 or 4 weeks.  it's more like 3 or 4 months.  :P  but it's worth the wait, I know he had mine from March to July.  its a small Father & Son shop. been the owners for years. late 60's.

Looks like a nice builld!  There are a lot of builders out there that aren't highly recognized, yet produce marvelous work.  There is a shop out where I live called Speed Performance Engineering that has been around since 1969.  Everytime I walk in there the service is great and the engine's they're building are pieces of art.  I wish I had the money to get them to build my 400 but typically those types of shops cost an arm and a leg for labor.

sorry to say , that's the way it go's .
but if you can build it your self , have one of thees shops do the work. that way you know you have quality parts to start with.

trust me, I just got burnt ( big time ) I didnt what to spend the money on the motor like I did for my 79.  the bill was less then half for my 77 motor. the guy was nice , trusting, very clean shop.
but I guess for half price I got a Half A$$ Motor Build.

Doug I'm envious...as far as I'm aware of there isn't anybody in my city with dyno equipment but I also haven't had the need yet to find one so there might be a chance
