plastic highback racing seats, install question
« on: May 01, 2011, 01:37:01 PM »
with my TA seeing mostly track time and some crusing on the weekends, i have a set of plastic summit high back seats to install, I dont know where to start so any help would be great, i cant use the brackets summit sells because the seats will nearly touch the roof and with the contour of the floor its hard to make them work anyway, so if anyone has any info on how to do this or pictures of it done, that would be great, iam basicly starting from scratch because the car has no interior, so again any help on how set them up right will be awesome, thanks!!!

Start with some wood under the seat to get the height right while a buddy measures the space on all four corners. All will be different as the floors in these cars were never flat. I like the Kirkey's for comfort and the cloth covers are real comfy... Good luck with your project!...Mike
