255/50/17
is pretty close to the original size.
Probably as tall as you want to go.

I also have a lowering kit on my car, PTFB's GT kit, and I am going to use 285/40 on the rear and 255/45 on the front.  YearOne used a 275/40 all the way around and looks really good if you can get your fender gap to look right.  That is why I went with the tires above because they are a little taller then the 275/40.

Kevin's car above also has the hotchkis lowering kit.  I think he has 255/45 all the way around, I think?  Am I right??

have you fitted your tyre also do you think 265/45/17 would work on the front and 285/45/17 would work on the rear as i want to go as big as possible so confusing .thanks kev

Hotchkis says their kit is 1.5 to 2" of drop. But I have no way of knowing if that is truly accurate or not.
