« on: September 20, 2010, 07:59:49 PM »
Ahhh, that is the question.  I need the antena in the glass.

Safelite wants a little over $200.00 for it.  Whatcha think?

Good price, I would go new myself if I didn't already have a windshield for it

The glass shop wanted that for my jeep windshield and it's flat!!

DO NOT USE SAFELITE!!!! junk glass junk installers, you are on crack if you use them and i'll dis own you too. use a locally owned shop get pilkington (lof) for your car put oe back in it!!! for less than the $200.

I will you dont want that junk in your car heidi. besides if you call a shop and cannot speak to the owner, do you know where your money went? I will tell you. Autoglass specialists, Safelite, diamond triumph, arnies autoglass and many more are owned by bellron. do you know where they are located heidi? germany. though yes there are local faces installing the glass, the profits all go to germany. and not to mention at any of the named places it is said "you either start there or end there" they are either the rookies who dont quite know what they are doing or the guys who plain just suck at it and couldnt make it at a locally owned and operated shop.

try these guys
www.charlestonautoglass.com
they are locally owned
so are these guys
www.albemarleautoglass.com
or these guys
www.yext.com/autoglass/profile/clear-vision-auto-glass...
or these guys
www.kimbleautoglass.com/about.htm
or these guys
www.appleautoglass.com/windshield-repair-replace/ON/...

do me a favor and swear on the safety of you and your family and also the T/A and do NOT use safelite heidi!!
anyone who is independant ask them what type of glass they use.
use only pilkington or PGW you should find that $180 is more the locally owned and operated price. even if you have to pay a few $$ more than safelite, its well worth it in the end. and when your done, i want to see a picture of the glass, dont dissappoint me heidi!!!
