I bought the quarter patch panels from Classic Industries.

This is the Driver side front of rear quarter panel.  Someone put a piece of metal down inside the panel and welded it in at the bottom.

While I was waiting for the quarter patch panels to arrive I started working on the snowflake wheels.  Through the process......I came to the conclusion to not use OER spray paints.
I ordered 2 cans to start.  Ended up being two different shades of gold. Called Classic Industries and they are sending me two more cans.
And two different shades of gold again.  So, with four cans that have the same part number.......3 different shades of gold.

I was able to get all of the rust removed from the inside firewall and under toe board on passenger side.  Plus the front of the rear quarter panel.  I had to replace a section on the inner panel lip.....so to speak.  It went well for not being a professional welder.  I am learning more and more as I go.

I treated all of the areas that were pitted....thankfully there were no holes.  Followed all instructions to a tee and now the area is coated with POR15.

One section that is pitted.....the inside firewall where the A/C heater box mounted.  There isn't any rust through.  And directly on the other side is the VIN numbers showing that it belongs on this car.

I took my engine down to Len Williams, in Oklahoma, in August, and he is going to "Wake it Up".

He called the other day and said it's finished.  We're planning on going to pick it up next week.  Pics coming soon.

The engine was rebuilt to the specs he does for his 400 long blocks:

http://lenwilliamsautomachine.com/400_Long_Block.html

At this moment.....until I, or someone else, convinces me other wise, I'm going to use the RA manifolds and their piping from ramairrestoration.com.  I'll use a quieter muffler than what they have to offer.

It's never 100% until it's all bought and in my garage.   ;D
