The casino went bankrupt and sold everything.  I posted pics a few years ago of that car while we were at the casino in Deadwood.  It had a plaque that read that this was the car given to Burt to drive back and forth while filming.
yeap which was impossible to have a 81 during filming of part 2 as production started in nov of 79-march of 80 which i talked about here and iver at the bandit run at motortopia page ,the car isnt the one burt drove back and forth to the set he drove the 80 back and forth to the set then gave it to jerry after filming as he was promised a 81 when they hit so after the famous 81 photo op burt received the 81 and the rest is history so this 81 was never used during filming to go back and forth to the set i think it got confused with the 80 that he did drive back and forth that he gave jerry

Yep- but I just wrote what was on the board beside the car.  Couldn't actually be the car he used unless Burt travelled in time, got the '81 and took it back to 1979.  It did have the original title in Burt's name on display too.

And didn't the 80 Burt gave to Jerry end up in the Nashville Hall of Fame, then to storage where it went under water during the flood a couple years ago? Lottie Reed said she drove one her dad gave her to take to school but was afraid people  would follow her home, so they donated it to the museum. (or something like that, I heard her tell the story in Nashville)

yeap i reported that yrs ago when that 81 of burts first came around claiming it was used back and forth to the set...im also the one who busted the CMHF in lying and sating it was used in the movie as well and a family member knew jerry pretty well and he told him burt gave it to him and he gave it to his daughter but took it back cause ppl where following her hime from school and stuff so he had it put on display there, she sup to still own it and talked about bring it out.when i talked to CMHF they said they have no intentions of ever displaying it again and it wasnt harmed in the nashville flood
