Haven't done a thing to it since I bought it but its in very good shape (think it just needs a little vinyl conditioner and a new carpet to bring it completely back)

And my Y88 I'm still working on

Here goes...

Some things you can't see in these pics are the old truck hoods and a trunk lid from an old Chevy that I'm going to cut into the needed firewall, toe boards and rear seat pans.

And then there are some "secret" items I'm keeping under wraps for now. ;)

You DRIVE that car???? 27K original miles, like new interior...I couldn't do it......original paint too???
Hammer... I hate to say this because I believe these cars are intended to be driven, but you have a candidate for "Queeny Trailer Treatment" there!!

Buddy.....I drive it!  I don't own a trailer.  I bought it with just 20,900 miles on her 6 years ago.  I've driven it to Michigan quite a few times and to the Trans Am Nationals every year since I've owned it from Cleveland to Dayton.  I just drive her very rarely.  The car is mostly original as I have had some touch up work on her done and the complete hood repainted with the addition of a new hoodbird.  The interior however....is original in every way except for the tranny gauge in the console.  I did re-dye one rear panel due to sun fade.

Sorry but my girl is not a trailer queen.....and I do take pride in driving her.  I enjoy it as often as I want.  Just not every day and mostly when the Ohio Firebirds get together.  They are all a riot!

Hammer

P.S.  The pictures don't really do the beauty of the interior justice.  Oh I have flaws, but not many.

You're offically my new HERO! Agreed they were made to be driven...... I must admit I would not have the stones to drive something that collectable/valuable! One ding or something and I would flip my wig........

She's a beauty.... never saw photos of the interior prior to this post.... WOW!

Hammer, Jeff and LonestaR... thanks for the compliments.  :) I really enjoy detailing my T/A, inside and out... I put on some tunes and I'm good to go.

Hammer, the passenger on the dash is actually a bean bag frog...that dude has been riding with me since I bought my first car...1976( hey, it's as old as your T/A). Now it only rides in the T/A. Here's a better pic:

Thanks.   I have recieved a few PM about my doors on page 2 of this topic and who made them or where they came from.  Thought Id just post it here that I made them along with the rest of the interior such as seats and etc.  I do auto uphosltery for a living.

As far as the above question about what I started with, here are a few pics of the car when I bought it.  ( Hope this is not taking the thread too far off track here.)
