Fuse Box Ignition Source Drops Out While Cranking
« on: September 19, 2020, 01:26:39 PM »
Hey Guys,

Recently installed Holley EFI with Hyperspark Distributor on my 455. While searching for a 12 volt ignition source I ran into a problem. All of my 12 volt sources on my fuse box drop form mid 12's to nohting while cranking. My battery has been tested good and is fully charged when I checked. Just to make sure I wired everything properly I temporarily wired both to a constant source on my fuse box and the engine ran like it should. I know its common for the voltmeter to go from 12 to around 10 volts while cranking because of the load, but mine are dropping to 0. I'm just wondering why my ignition slot on my fuse box is dropping out. Not sure what could cause this other than if a fuse box can go bad??

Thanks,
Sean
