Oil pan replacement in the car???

Has anyone replaced the oil pan on a 79 t/a 6.6 (403) in the car. At some point mine was dented and is now leaking, I had thought about removing the motor mounts and exhaust if needed. I’m wondering if anyone has tried without all the extra work?

Haven't tried it. The amount of work required to simply lift the motor enough is likely similar to removing it. You might get lucky and only have to remove it slightly until clearance and drop back in.
