Using a Rotisserie
(1/1)
wheels78ta:
I'm going to build a rotisserie for the 78 Trans Am. Since it has T-tops.....is there any extra bracing necessary to keep the body from buckling?
Jeff......I know you had a TA on a rotisserie a few years ago. I believe you used the bumper mounts at the rear.....and the body mounts at the front.
All input is welcome.

Yes I did ...and you are correct on the mounting points I use.
Both I've had on the rotisserie were t-top models and I did not use any additional bracing...however I left the doors on while mounted to prevent sag.
I have a set of adjustable door braces but haven't used them.
