No scratches or wear marks.  I bought the mount ($28 shipped) and the rings ($45 shipped) and mounted them on the rifle.  Bought a scope, mounted and sighted it, and decided this was not for me.  So I took it off and it has been sitting on the shelf since.  Camo scope has been sold. This is the mounting system (mount and rings) for a AR-type rifle with a carry handle.   ***SOLD***
