Title: Fixed or Variable Orifice?
Post by: Spyder982 on June 09, 2021, 03:13:15 PM
In the process of rebuilding the A6 compressor, installing a new drier, flushing the evap/condenser and converting to r134. I'm reading mixed reviews from various sources on using a variable orifice vs fixed. I am located in central texas so a/c at idle is a must - making me lean towards a variable. Anyone have any experience here? TIA.

I went with a a/c delco variable for 105 degrees and down. We will see how it turns out.
