Topic: Speaker installation

Hey everyone....I am installing a stereo system in my 75 TA, I have a question for anyone who may have dealt with this.  It appears that I do not have enough clearance to mount speakers in the doors. Now this may sound silly to some, as I am in no way skilled in the installation of stereo components. Has anyone encountered this problem? and if so, what did you do. Thanks for any help.

make some spacer rings, and make them good looking, and it can pull that speaker out from the inside of the door a bit, ive seen plenty of speakers installed in door panels, or you can go with the option of buying the year one BRE molded door panels with provisions already built in for speakers....
