They don't make batteries like they used to.  I'm currently on my 7th year with my battery, and knock on wood, she still works quite well.  While in storage for the winter, once a month I'll put it on a slow 2 amp charge for a day.  Seems to have worked out once again.  Course, now that I mention it,...
