Procar's Rally Seats are the best I've ever seen in a gen2 car.  If I ever decide to upgrade the seats in my 77 Y81 (and I may) my search will begin and end with these Procar Rallys.  Here's a couple pics of them in a gen2 Camaro.

I've been looking at a set of those Procar Rally seats myself.  The have them in different colors, although anything other than black is not advertised in most catalogs.  They have a maroon vinyl that is real close to the carmine red interior in my car.  One of the guys over at TAC has them and they look great!  A set of those seats is on my list of future upgrades.  They have a catalog at their website.

Summit has the black ones for $279 each.  I found a place seems of have all the colors, but it's an import parts site.  If you don't mind buying from them, the site is here.

The maroon vinyl ones are $279 each.  That's where I think I'll be getting mine.  I know they're pricey, and I could just get new covers from Brett for $309, but then I would have new covers on my uncomfortable seats that don't recline.  Hmmm...

There's a poster here by the name of Maltese Falcon who got a set of really slick-looking seats for his 78, but he hasn't posted in a while.  He also posts over on TAC and had some pics up before the 1/07 crash over there.  I think he's been tied up with his job and finishing a new house this past summer.  Might try sending him a PM for his input. :-\ :-\

According to Steve (MalteseFalcon) those Corbeau seat he got (which were what Herb Adams put in his Fire Ams) were the LAST pair anywhere.  Don't know how he knows that, but he spent a looong time looking for them.

They're really not too bad.  By the time you buy the seats and the seat adapter kit for them and pay shipping you're probably looking at $700-$800 for the pair.

Daft question but what dash does he have in that car? Is it an early 2nd gen? Im sorry but i dont have a reference point apart from my own car!
I dont mean the gauge cluster area, but the actual " soft " part itself?
I know of people that have put complete BMW dashes into their Golfs ( Rabbits to our american freinds ) but does anything else fit the 2nd gen?
Power is nothing without Control.

perhaps a custom piece done in fiberglass and wrapped in leather, looks like he took the original dash and built up on it.
