Topic: How to repair your dash! (Lot of pics)

I've heard mix success on those - I've seen some that look horrible and obvious as capped.  Perhaps those are the ones where somebody ordered the wrong part?

The difference would be the size between the ash tray and radio...varies depending on year.

The caps pretty much cover all visible areas of the dash..not just the top.

For thoses who have a concern about the gravel guard and its petrolium content, you can swap this produts with this one

This texture can look event more OE than gravel guard with its finer grains.

Well I sold the car, but the repair did hold up until sold which is about 1 year.

I did this on two other project. One was another T/A and doors panel and dash on a 76 Corvette.  Both had hold up for two years until sold.
Only have one pic of my corvette and it aint the best
Door panel were cracked badly and the dash have small crack and corner were broken

Good tip about the "stone" spray. Also, SEM sells a "texture" spray for that purpose.
