Please forgive me. I didn't mean any disrespect with my smart remarks about attendance.
I am certain this car had that engine oil cooler provision because it made for a real bear of a job installing headers. A job I will never forget.
Wasn't aware the '79 cars with L80 and WS6 came with 2.73 or 3.08 rear gearing. The build sheet specifically says 3.23 for this car. I will try and dig it out and scan.
Still thinking only the 3.23 geared cars got the engine oil cooler.
