Pictures of the New/Used door!!
« on: July 27, 2010, 10:13:14 PM »
Here are two pictures of the door that we picked up this weekend.

Frank sanded it down and they look GREAT!  Small dings, but they will come out real easy!

Don't be sad about where it came from, think of it this way..........it is coming back to life in it's own way, and will not have to see the crusher.  I have saved a part of history!

Be careful on pulling them off or you'll kill them. You have to use a heat gun on the inside of the door but not to much or they will shrink if you use just enough they peel right off.

Are they making new ones with the ID number on them? I thought that they were just making the ones with the tire size and vehicle weight.

Here's someone over at TAC who figured out how to make their own door stickers and tells how to do it. They were even doing it for others for a reasonable fee: http://transamcountry.com/community/index.php?topic=7152.0
