17transam"s 1978 Y88 T-top project
« on: March 10, 2013, 11:03:20 PM »
Just bought a 78 trans am from tom kober (thomas) He's on here to, So I bought a car from a member! And never knew it till we started talking bout everything when I met him in NJ, Car is in pieces but it saves me time being that way, left around 2 yesterday stayed overnight and got back today, MAN we had a bear of a time gettin it on the trailer but we did, got it unloaded and all parts in the garage and out of the weather, Now all I have to do is sell my car in order to start working on this, And for $1,300 Im very very happy with it. needs lovin and tlc but I got time and will hopefully have money soon. dont know if it will be stock gold Y88 or bandit (S&TB), could go both ways, I'll take some pics after work and some how figure out how to put pics up, I think I have to go to photo bucket right? then just copy from there?  ;D

There are too many clone bandits out there! LOL

Keep it a nice Gold SE.

If you end up wanting a 77 S&TB I have 2, I could let a nice 4 speed go. I'll be having Muscle Car Alley taking care of the rust issues hopefully in a couple months after it thaws out.

Having to tell people it's a fake when they ask is not fun! It takes all the excitement away.

I think there is another member on here that has a black, 78 Y88. Maybe he'll chime in

Looks like a nice project car. Good luck with it. Id keep it a y88, but its your choice. Just want to say that black and gold cars are everywhere. A y88 is more unique
