selling my 79 formula (look whats it worth)

have my ad on craigslist http://omaha.craigslist.org/cto/3029928981.html what is it worth. my 2005 GTO spoiled me. just want to get rid of the bird.

started right up. if i air up the slicks it will blow them off the car. just need a ballpark figure. not much? whats that 50 bucks ? got this gto 2 years ago and i cant go back

It's funny how car values work out- despite production numbers most 2nd gen Firebird buyers want a T/A, and will pay good money for one- few buyer realize that Formulas are actually rarer for most years. But aside from your doors your Formula looks pretty nice- some interior pics would help too. I personally would put the stock wheels back on, and swap back to a single 4 bbl. to make the car more appealing to a regular driver. Dual quads and slicks might make a racer drool, but the average 1st time Firebird buyer has no clue about such things and is looking for more of a stock car.

The 455 IMO is a great bonus- with that in the car, plus going back to a more stock look you should be able to ask for at least $5k.
