I have both a 400-4spd Tenth Aniv and a '80 Turbo Pace and I love them both.

A stock configured '79 400 (made in '78) runs decent and will really wake up with
some changes, but then it floats away from what it was.

Same exact thing for a '80 Turbo Pace car...

As far as rarity, the 4spd TATA comes in at 1,817 units.

The '80 Turbo Pace car around 5700 units.

More rare is usually more worth. Aside from that, given the
choice you are presented with... I'd take the '80 Turbo Pace.

You should also know that I am the webmaster of the 301
garage, a 301 dedicated site should you select the '80 pace
and need any assistance...

i own a 1980 indy pace car and they only made 5700 of them and if you figure how many have been wrecked or crushed that number dwindles quite a bit so i waoul go with the indy pace car a 1980 turbo motor is rated at 210 or 220 and i dont know abnout the 403

1980 indy pace car all the way

Well, something looks funny with the rear end (on the gold one).  It seems to be way too high.

Yeah, there's definitely something really funny there.
Look at the door decals.
Both 64th Indy AND 22nd Daytona decals on the same car!
Same with the fender dacals - both Indy and NASCAR. ::)

Do these cars happen to be In Florida?  If it is the same guy as I know, then my suggestion would be to walk away from it.  I know him and I know the cars and even the 1980 at $5k would be too much to pay for it.  I say walk away from it.

that should bring the price down quite a bit... what do you think they can ask for her?
more than 5 grand?
