only 7 weeks away Saratoga Lawn Show. UPDATE 2-17-12
« on: September 03, 2011, 03:00:30 PM »
The 2012 Saratoga Lawn show. Myself, Tony T and the Udda Guy got a few early confirmations for the 2nd best show of the year.  The 2011 show was the best yet, with an all NEW venue at the Saratoga Speedway. The Friday cruise was great ( with some early rain). We were supposed to cruise to the speedway and watch the nights racing, instead the racing was called on account of the rain earlier. So when we arrived Tom & Keith arranged for the Firebirds to run the track. Which I have to say was a blast. After which we had our NATS like party in the parking lot. When it started raining, we didnt pack up and leave. Tony Tirone and his friend John ( with the reverse 69 TA ) pulled their tents out between their trailers and the fun kept on till late in the night. After such a rainstorm, most folks were worried about the show being on the lawn, but  much to everyone's surprise. The field was completely dry, ( which was a blessing). For those that told us you will be there, we will see you there.  For those of you on the fence, GET DOWN FROM THERE you can hurt yourself, and get on up to NY, you wont regret it.

Hey Guys
I have been in touch with Tom Smith for the 10th annual lawn show.
We are working on a lot of new ideas for next year.
And the show should be outrageous.
There a lot new people who have commited to next years show already.
We are talking about extending it to three days to start.
Thursday to Saturday, so put it on your calendar for next year.
It is the week after the 4th of July weekend.
You wont regret it I can assure you that.
So keep an eye on this post for alot more updates.
We are open for suggestions also, so let then fly.
I have a few videos I have to get off my iphone from this years show at the Saratoga Raceway.
So check back soon.
Thanks
Tony T.

I will Russ, knowing you guys will be there is inspiration enough to go but I won`t have my car judged tough to compete with Tom parked right next to me unless they bring in JJR from the 301 garage to judge me LOL

We will be there - Laura and I. Just trying to figure out logistics of packing all the necessary tools and a suitcase into the Y88. That might get a tad interesting...

Trailer hitch anyone? I bet I can tow a decent amount with the 455 under the hood ;D

Yeah right...I'll let you tell her that one! ;D

Cold weather, warm weather, wet weather, and I'm taking his clothes weather!  (I lost my jacket a few times on family vacation in August due to the last one).

Hey cant fault a guy for being a little worried about a possible kidney stone problem. As soon as I saw it was not that I hopped on the caravan to get there for the show.

I will be there next year early and as John I will not have my car judged either unless modified class is broken up.
