Anyone see this before? In restoring my 78, the painter was very uneasy about the original front clip, so I bought a new one. Fast forward to assembly later and the grill inserts stick out on the inside about 1/2" near the Pontiac emblem. I cannot come up with a solution. I have double checked that they are seated inward as far as they should. My only guess is that the new clip from Classic Industries has the dimensions off slightly.
