Fuel tank differences in years?

Is there any difference in tanks from ... 76 to 80 ish?.. online they list different . But they look pretty close to the same ...

Difference is the fuel filler neck...angled differently because the fuel fill location changed after '78...so '79-'81 differs from previous years

Doubtful but not positive.
Looking them up, they each show different part numbers.

74-78 firebird same as 74-77 camaro... wonder if you could just shorten the filler  pipe with a hose
