New tank and new vent line don’t line up

So the vent line coming off the top the tank and my new full vent line I got do not line up. Am I good to use tube cutter, cut back the line and connect with a fuel injection hose?

Depends what tank and what don't line up means. Wrong parts, bent wrongly, bent in transport, car previously modified.
What brand tank?

Have the same issue here.  Just going to cut to match with a short hose to connect the two.  Should be no issue especially on a ventilation line.
